Job summary

HR Partners is seeking a Project Manager in Townsville to take full ownership of projects from pre-construction to handover. You will drive program execution, manage budgets and margins, and lead multidisciplinary site and commercial teams to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires 3–5+ years of PM experience in commercial/industrial construction and a Construction Management degree is preferred. Strong contract administration and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

3–5+ years as a Project Manager in commercial and/or industrial construction.
A degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred.
Experienced candidates originating from a trade or site management background are encouraged.

Responsibilities

Lead projects end-to-end from pre-construction through to handover.
Drive program execution, scheduling, and sequencing.
Manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and project margins.
Oversee head contract administration, including claims, variations, EOTs, and final accounts.
Drive subcontractor procurement and monitor commercial performance.
Mentor and manage Site Managers, Contracts Administrators, Cadets, and project teams.
Identify risks early and implement practical solutions, ensuring safety and quality.
