GrainKing in Canning Vale, WA, is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper / Accounts Officer to manage day‑to‑day accounts in a hands‑on role reporting to the CFO. You will own financial operations, ensure accuracy, and work independently in a busy business.

Responsibilities include AP/AR, reconciliations, month‑end, BAS/GST, payroll support and management reporting. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail oriented and familiar with Australian accounting practices.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in a Senior Bookkeeper or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and general bookkeeping.
• Experience with inter-entity transactions and reconciliations.
• Experience with month-end reconciliations, BAS/GST and general ledger processes.
• A sound understanding of Australian accounting practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Confidence working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems.

Responsabilidades

• Accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Processing supplier invoices and customer payments.
• Bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Inter-entity reconciliations.
• General ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Preparation and processing of journals and accruals.
• Debtor and creditor management.
• Assisting with payroll and payroll-related reconciliations.
• BAS/GST preparation and reporting.
• Month-end processing and reconciliations.
• Cashflow monitoring and reporting.
• Assisting with management accounts and financial reporting.
• Liaising with external accountants, auditors, suppliers and customers as required.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies.
• General finance and accounts administration.
• Assisting the CFO with other finance-related tasks as required.
