Private Advertiser based in Perth CBD is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper / Accounts Manager for a private wealth management practice. The role is 45 hours per fortnight with flexible days from Tuesday to Friday.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years in a similar professional services role, advanced Xero skills, IAS and BAS experience, and strong Excel and communication abilities to manage accounts and collaborate with external accountants.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of bookkeeping/Accounts Manager experience in professional services.
• Advanced knowledge of Xero.
• Expert IAS and BAS preparation.

• Experience with residential property and strata accounts.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter transactions in Xero.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards.
• Prepare accounts to balance sheet.
• Provide BAS and IAS services as required.
• Review transactions and analyze expenses for deductions.
• Maintain property income and expenses.
• Provide year-end workpapers to external accountant.
• Support external accountant with necessary information.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper / Accounts Manager for our Perth CBD based private wealth management firm. The role is a 45 hour per fortnight position. The office hours can be flexible to suit and be spread across the days of Tuesday through to Friday.

The successful applicant will have 5 or more years of experience in a similar role in a professional services firm, can demonstrate a level of high attention to detail and have prior experience with Xero.

To be successful in the role you will possess:

Your duties will consist of:

managing financial accounts, including entry of transactions into Xero.

reconciling bank accounts and credit cards

accounts preparation to balance sheet

provision of BAS and IAS services as required

reviewing transactions and analysing expenses, ensuring tax deductions are applied

maintaining investment property income and expenses

provision of detailed information to an external accountant (including year-end workpapers)
