Precision Automotive Equipment is a national leader in supplying, installing, and servicing world-class automotive workshop equipment. The Business Development Manager will sell products and services, generate leads, and build relationships while presenting to customers at events and trade shows.

You will need a strong understanding of the sales process, negotiating skills, and the ability to present compelling offerings.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background or former mechanic.
• Experience as a Business Development Manager in a trade-based business.
• Ability to learn quickly and meet targets.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to build customer and trade relationships.
• Self-motivation with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Represent products and services and identify market needs.
• Meet sales budgets through strategies and tactics.
• Generate leads and build relationships with outlets.
• Develop territory action plan using data analysis.
• Perform demos and handle objections.
• Prepare reports and proposals for executive use.
• Coordinate with sales staff to meet budgets.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients to identify new opportunities.
