Job summary

Moss Vale Motor Group is seeking a Service Technician to join our Volkswagen-focused service team. The successful candidate will perform maintenance and diagnostic work across VW vehicles, ensure high-quality workmanship, and collaborate with our technical team to resolve faults.

Qualifications

• Experience performing minor and major maintenance and diagnostics to high quality standards.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies across Volkswagen vehicles.
• Collaborates with the technical team to diagnose and solve faults.
• Follows checklists and quality control processes to ensure workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Undertake routine and complex maintenance and diagnostic work on vehicles.
• Work closely with the Volkswagen technical team to ensure correct fault diagnosis and repair.
• Adhere to checklists and quality standards to deliver consistent results.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior technicians as needed.
• Stay up to date with mandatory factory training and new procedures.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a strong customer-focused work ethic.

Overview of the Role:

Moss Vale Motor Group is part of Macarthur's largest family owned multi-franchise motor dealership. We are now looking for the right candidate with a keen eye for detail to join our successful Service team in the role of Service Technician.

The Successful Applicant Must have:

Proven experience undertaking Minor & Major maintenance & diagnostic work to the highest quality Standards.

Able to quickly adapt to the ever-changing technologies across a wide range of Volkswagen vehicles

Working closely with the technical team at Volkswagen ensuring correct steps are taken to problem solve faults

Adheringto checklists and quality control standards

A team player who is focused on providing exemplary quality service

Ability to mentor / provide guidance to junior technicians

Keep up to date withmandatory factory training

Take pride in your ability to problem solve / fault find.

Be mature, punctual with a strong work ethic.
