Autosports Group seeks multiple motivated 1st Year Automotive Apprentices to join our workshop team at Leichhardt, NSW. Begin a long-term career with hands-on training alongside experienced technicians and exposure to premium vehicle brands in a professional dealership environment.

You will be supported through structured training, mentoring, and continued development while working with modern automotive technology.

Qualifications

• Interest in automotive industry and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Current driver's license or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified technicians with servicing and repairs.
• Learn to diagnose basic mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out routine servicing tasks under supervision.
• Use workshop tools safely and correctly.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and dealership processes.
• Attend TAFE or registered training as part of apprenticeship.

About The Role

We are seeking multiple motivated 1st Year Automotive Apprentice’s to join our workshop team. This is an exciting opportunity to begin a long-term career in the automotive industry, working alongside experienced technicians and receiving hands-on training with some of the world's leading prestige vehicle brands. You will be supported throughout your apprenticeship with structured training, mentoring, and exposure to modern automotive technology in a professional dealership environment.

In this role you will:

• Assist qualified technicians with servicing, maintenance, and repairs
• Learn to diagnose basic mechanical and electrical faults
• Carry out routine servicing tasks under supervision
• Use workshop tools and equipment safely and correctly
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and dealership processes
• Attend TAFE or registered training as part of your apprenticeship
• Develop technical skills and product knowledge across premium brands

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A genuine interest in the automotive industry and desire to learn
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take direction
• Good communication skills and a team-focused mindset
• Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to completing an apprenticeship
• Basic mechanical knowledge or prior work experience (advantageous but not essential)
• A current driver's licence or willingness to obtain one
• A commitment to workplace health and safety
