Eurostar Diesels, a Melbourne-area Mercedes-Benz specialist, seeks a Service Advisor to manage front-desk customer service, quotes and diagnostics. You’ll liaise with technicians, research parts, and build relationships with owners and fleet managers, contributing to a smooth service flow.

Ideal candidates will understand automotive repairs, be computer-literate, and excel at documentation and quotes, while delivering outstanding customer service in a busy workshop environment.

We're looking for a Service Advisor to join our team at Sunshine West.

Eurostar Diesels is one of Melbourne's largest non-dealership Mercedes-Benz specialists. We service Mercedes-Benz Cars, SUVs, Vans and Ambulances. We are family-owned and run two modern workshops in Sunshine West and Hallam.

Who we're looking for

We’re searching for someone who:

• Loves cars - You are genuinely passionate about cars and how they work.
• Understands automotive repairs - You have a solid understanding of automotive repair processes and parts.
• Communicates like a pro - You're confident speaking with customers and can write professional reports, emails and quotes.
• Is great with computers - You're a fast learner of new software, quick at navigating parts catalogues and can efficiently research technical information.
• Is highly organised - You can juggle multiple tasks, prioritise when things get busy, and follow processes without letting things slip through the cracks.
• Has an eye for detail - You take pride in getting things right, whether thats in a diagnostic report, repair quote or parts order.
• Enjoys working with people - You're friendly, can easily make friends with everyone, present well and are genuinely interested in providing excellent customer service.

Previous experience in a service advisor, parts interpreter or similar automotive sales role would be highly regarded.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Service Advisor, you'll play an important role in keeping our workshop running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing friendly customer service at the front counter, on the phone, via text and email.
• Building strong relationships with customers, whether they are an individual owner, or a national fleet manager.
• Liasing with techncians under vehicle hoists, to understand vehicle faults and recommended repairs.
• Writing detailed vehicle inspection and diagnostic reports.
• Using electronic parts catalogues to research and order parts.
• Preparing accurate quotes and estimates for repairs.
• Keeping customers informed throughout all stages of the service and repair process.
• Supporting our Workshop Manager and Technicians to keep the shop running like clockwork.
