Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, common repairs, and automotive terminology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical information to customers clearly.
• Proficiency with service management software and point-of-sale systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple customer inquiries and service appointments simultaneously.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and assessing service needs accurately.
• Preparing quotations and explaining maintenance or repairs clearly.
• Scheduling service appointments and coordinating workflow in the service department.
• Liaising with technicians to ensure clear work orders and customer requirements are met.
• Keeping customers informed and noting any additional issues found during inspections.
• Processing invoices and customer payments while maintaining records.
• Identifying opportunities to recommend additional services or products.
• Building lasting relationships to support repeat business and referrals.
• Ensuring compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer guidelines.
• Responding promptly to enquiries via phone, email, or in person.
