Job summary

Premium Automotive Pty Ltd on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor. You will join a growing team and talk to customers about their vehicles, understand workshop bookings, and provide genuine automotive enthusiasm.

No mechanic qualification is required, and you’ll be supported by an experienced team. You’ll work together with a front office advisor who is a qualified mechanic with over a decade in the industry and an Operations Manager with more than 20 years of automotive

Premium Automotive is looking for an Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team on the Sunshine Coast.

YOU WON'T BE DOING IT ALONE

This is probably one of the biggest differences about this opportunity.

You won't be walking into a workshop as the only Service Advisor with everything resting on your shoulders.

You'll be joining an experienced team around you.

Our front office includes an experienced Service Advisor who is also a fully qualified mechanic with more than 10 years in the automotive industry.

You'll also work closely with our Operations Manager, who brings more than 20 years of automotive experience and is there to support the team and keep the business running smoothly.

Behind them is our team of four technicians and two actively involved owners who work full-time on and in the business.

There is a huge amount of automotive knowledge around you.

So when you don't know something, there will always be someone to ask.

We don't expect you to walk through the door knowing everything.

We want to help you become exceptional at what you do.

THE ROLE

As one of our Service Advisors, you'll be an important link between our customers and workshop.

Your role will include:

• speaking with customers about their vehicles
• answering calls and enquiries
• managing workshop bookings
• welcoming customers and checking vehicles in
• communicating with our technicians and workshop team
• keeping customers updated throughout the day
• explaining vehicle findings and recommendations
• preparing quotes and gaining approvals
• preparing invoices and processing payments
• organising vehicle collections and future bookings
• helping make sure every customer feels genuinely looked after

You'll have support around you while you continue developing your automotive knowledge, communication skills and confidence.
