Job summary

Vitality Recruitment is seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor to be the face of the workshop. You will book vehicles, communicate with customers and ensure a great service experience from start to finish.

Based in a modern service centre, you’ll liaise with technicians to track progress, provide updates and manage expectations. A proven background in automotive customer service and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service advisor or customer-facing automotive role.
• Good understanding of vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisation and time management to juggle multiple jobs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assess service needs and book vehicles in.
• Explain recommended work, quotes and timeframes clearly.
• Coordinate job progress with workshop technicians and foreman.
• Provide timely updates and manage expectations on completion.
• Prepare quotes, work orders and invoices accurately.
• Maintain precise service records and customer documentation.
• Handle enquires professionally and resolve issues quickly.
• Identify opportunities for additional services to benefit customers.
• Support workshop scheduling and maintain smooth workflow.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of customer service processes.
