Job summary

BUMA Australia is seeking an Auto Electrician for our Goonyella operation in Moranbah, Queensland. Join a maintenance team that keeps CAT, Hitachi, Liebherr and Komatsu gear running during shutdowns and servicing.

Work on diverse mobile plant equipment with a strong safety culture. Australian-recognised Auto Electrical Trade Certificate or equivalent is required, along with an air conditioning licence and SAP experience.

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised Auto Electrical Trade Certificate or equivalent.
• Air Conditioning system servicing and licence.
• Experience with computerised maintenance management systems including SAP.
• Previous experience in servicing and maintenance of mining mobile plant and equipment.
• Safety focused with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety processes.

Responsibilities

• Support planned shutdowns, servicing and diagnostic work on mining mobile plant.
• Carry out servicing and breakdown maintenance on mobile equipment.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective repairs to minimise downtime.

About the Role:

As BUMA Australia grows, we are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our Maintenance Team at Goonyella Mine. Come join a site with positive, energetic, and approachable leaders, where hard work and talent is appreciated.

Working on various mobile plant equipment such as CAT, Hitachi, Liebherr and Komatsu.

Supporting site requirements for planned shutdowns, servicing, breakdowns, and diagnostic work.

About You:

Australian-recognised Auto Electrical Trade Certificate or equivalent.

Air Conditioning system servicing and licence.

Experience with computerised maintenance management systems including SAP.

Previous experience in servicing and maintenance of mining mobile plant and equipment.

Safety focused with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety processes.

Located in the Bowen Basin of Central Queensland, BMA’s Goonyella Mine is one of Queensland’s largest coal mines. It is situated approximately 30 kilometres from the town of Moranbah.

BUMA Australia provide labour, supervision, technical support and mobile plant to perform truck and excavator pre-strip operations.
