Job summary

Westgold Resources is seeking skilled maintenance personnel for underground equipment servicing in Western Australia. A full-time, permanent role with FIFO/DIDO options and residential opportunities in Kambalda & Kalgoorlie is available.

Applicants should have a current C Class WA driver’s licence, relevant trade qualifications, and experience in underground mining or heavy industry. CMMS Pronto and CAT ET SIS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current C Class Manual WA driver’s licence.
• Valid and relevant trade qualifications, certificates, and licences.
• Experience within underground mining or heavy industry environment.
• Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desired).
• Experience with CAT ET SIS Systems.
• Experience with RCT remote control systems.
• A can-do, team-oriented attitude.
• Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment.
• Reasonable computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite.
• Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and servicing of underground equipment.
• Fault-finding and carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance.
• Adequately adhere to maintenance schedules to minimise disruption to mine operations.
• Actively drive and participate in maintenance planning activities.
• Liaising with Contractors and Stakeholders as required
