Job summary

Westgold Resources is seeking a dedicated maintenance professional for underground equipment in Western Australia. You will perform preventative and breakdown maintenance, ensuring reliability of critical assets in challenging conditions.

Prerequisites include a current WA C-class manual licence and relevant trade qualifications. The role offers roster flexibility (FIFO/DIDO/residential) and a supportive culture focused on safety and development.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service underground equipment.
• Fault-find and perform preventative and breakdown maintenance.

The Role

• Maintaining and servicing of underground equipment
• Fault-finding and carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Adequately adhere to maintenance schedules to minimise disruption to mine operations
• Actively drive and participate in maintenance planning activities
• Liaising with Contractors and Stakeholders as required

What do I need

• Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence
• Valid and relevant trade qualifications, certificates, and licences
• Experience within underground mining or heavy industry environment
• Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desired)
• Experience with CAT ET SIS Systems
• Experience with RCT remote control systems
• A can-do, team-oriented attitude
• Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
• Reasonable computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite
• Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable
• Excellent communication skills
