Job summary

Clio is seeking a Payroll Specialist for its APAC payroll team. You will manage Australia-based payroll end-to-end and support additional APAC countries through third-party providers and EOR arrangements. Deep knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance is essential.

You will work within a global payroll team, handling statutory reporting, benefits reconciliation, and Workday configuration to ensure accurate, on-time payroll and robust controls across regions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience processing Australian payroll end to end.
• Strong knowledge of PAYG withholding, Superannuation Guarantee, state/territory payroll tax, and year-end reporting.
• Understanding of Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards as they apply to pay, leave, and termination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process payroll for Australia-based employees and expand to APAC.
• Manage payroll inputs and validations including variable pay, leaves, and year-end adjustments.
• Oversee statutory payroll reporting and remittances per Australian requirements.
• Coordinate payroll cycles with EOR partner across multiple countries.
• Reconcile payroll and benefits data and support month-end activities.
• Support employee lifecycle payroll—hires, changes, leaves, resignations, terminations.
• Maintain Workday payroll processes and assist benefits administration.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and support audits.
