Job summary

Clio is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join the APAC payroll team. You will manage Australian payroll end-to-end, coordinate with our EOR partners across multiple countries, and ensure accurate, on-time payroll delivery while maintaining compliance and data integrity in Workday.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience processing Australian payroll end to end.
• Strong knowledge of PAYG withholding, Superannuation, payroll tax, and year-end reporting.
• Experience with third-party payroll providers and EOR.
• Excellent collaboration and communication, and ability to handle confidential data.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process payroll for Australia-based employees on time and accurately.
• Manage payroll inputs and validations, including variable pay, leave, absences, and retroactive adjustments.
• Handle statutory payroll reporting and remittances (PAYG, superannuation, year-end).
• Coordinate payroll cycles with EOR partner across multiple countries.
• Reconcile payroll and benefits data and support month-end activities.
• Support employee lifecycle payroll processes (hires, changes, leaves, resignations).
• Maintain Workday payroll processes and assist benefits administration.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and support audits and process improvements.
• Provide cross-training for backup support for other regional payrolls.
