Clio in Sydney is seeking a Senior Payroll Lead to manage end-to-end payroll for 700 staff within our APAC payroll team. You’ll handle Australian payroll processing, compliance, and collaborate with third-party providers to support our global workforce.

You’ll work in a hybrid setup, oversee payroll reconciliation, year-end activities, and Workday configurations while driving process improvements across payroll and benefits. Fluency in English required.

Formación

• 3+ years of payroll experience, including hands-on Australian payroll end to end.
• Strong knowledge of PAYG withholding, Superannuation Guarantee, state/territory payroll tax, and year-end reporting.
• Experience managing payroll through third-party providers (EOR or global payroll platforms).
• Experience with payroll reconciliations, reporting, controls, and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and process payroll for Australia-based employees and expand to APAC.
• Manage payroll inputs and validations including variable pay and leave.
• Handle statutory reporting and remittances per Australian requirements.
• Coordinate payroll cycles with EOR partner across multiple countries.
• Reconcile payroll and benefits data and support month-end activities.
• Support employee lifecycle payroll processes and inquiries.
• Maintain Workday payroll configurations and assist with benefits administration.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and support audits and continuous improvement.
• Provide backup support for other regional payrolls.
