Job summary

Bradken, a global leader in wear products for the resources sector, seeks an experienced Payroll Officer to join the HR Services & Reward team in WA. You will deliver Australian payroll services across weekly, fortnightly and monthly cycles for hourly and salaried staff, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

You will collaborate with employees, managers, Finance and People teams, manage data quality, respond to queries and support payroll process improvements while maintaining compliance with

Qualifications

• Three years’ Australian payroll experience
• Experience processing weekly, fortnightly or monthly payrolls
• Experience with hourly and salaried employees
• Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, tax and superannuation
• Strong Excel skills and payroll data proficiency
• Ability to manage competing deadlines
• Experience with ADP and UKG/Kronos is preferred

Responsibilities

• Process Australian weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time
• Manage employee changes, benefits, deductions, leave and termination payments
• Support time and attendance processes for hourly and operational employees
• Interpret payroll data in line with awards, agreements and legislation
• Respond to payroll queries from employees and managers
• Investigate payroll discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
• Complete payroll reconciliations, reports, records and audit activities
• Maintain accurate employee and payroll information
• Support improvements to payroll processes and data accuracy
• Handle confidential employee information with care and integrity
