Job summary

Bradken is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join the HR Services & Reward team in Burswood, WA. You will manage weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for hourly and salaried staff across Australia, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Reporting to the HR Services Manager, APAC, you will handle payroll data, queries, reconciliations and reporting, while maintaining data integrity and compliance with awards and legislation.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ Australian payroll experience.
• Experience processing weekly, fortnightly or monthly payrolls.
• Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employees.
• Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, tax and superannuation.
• Strong Excel skills and data handling ability.

Responsibilities

• Process Australian weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
• Manage employee changes, benefits, deductions, leave and termination payments.
• Support time and attendance processes for hourly and operational employees.
• Interpret payroll data in line with awards, agreements and legislation.
• Respond to payroll queries from employees, managers and supervisors.
• Complete payroll reconciliations, reports and audit activities.
• Maintain accurate employee and payroll information and data quality.
