Job summary

The IRONMAN Group is seeking an Event Services Coordinator to lead on athlete registration, keep content current, and support 3-4 events annually. You will oversee non-retail merchandise, event administration, and athlete support across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• PM skills: manage deadlines and project lifecycles; communicate with stakeholders.
• High Excel proficiency; CRM/database experience; learn new programs; API awareness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with athletes and stakeholders.
• Interest or experience in sports/events industry.
• Tertiary Event Management qualification preferred.
• First Aid Certificate, Working with Children Check and Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Registration platforms: create, test, launch forms; ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Data management: admin athlete data; privacy; generate time reports.
• Website/App administration: content updates across platforms.
• Non-retail merchandise: manage athlete supplies; design briefs; deadlines; forecasting.
• Manuals and documentation: event delivery runbooks and briefs.
• Customer service: high-level athlete enquiries via email/phone.
• Event delivery: attend events and manage athlete activity on site.
• Lead athlete check-in, start/finish line protocols, awards.
• Manage team of staff, casuals, contractors, volunteers.
• Travel to approx 6-8 events per year.
