Job summary

CommBank is seeking a Customer Banking Specialist for the Atherton branch on a part-time contract. You will greet customers, understand enquiries and guide them to the right channels, while building rapport and promoting in-branch digital options.

You will work a predetermined roster from Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 1:30pm, with the contract running until March 2028. This role focuses on delivering friendly, professional service to support customers’ financial goals.

Qualifications

• A proven track record of delivering exceptional Customer Service ideally in Financial Services, Retail or Hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills & display all the right behaviours to maintain an approachable & professional demeanour.
• The ability to manage customer expectations with a professional presence.

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer & clearly understand their enquiry, guiding the customer to the appropriate channel.
• Build personal connection with customers through meaningful conversations to enhance their experience.
• Provide options for the customer through education & demonstration of our in-branch technology and digital banking options.
• Be aware of movements within the branch, ensuring it's running effectively & efficiently and that customers are satisfied with their experience.
