Job summary

Tapping Primary School seeks an Associate Principal to provide educational leadership across the school and its community from Kindergarten to Year 6. The role focuses on delivering evidence-based practice in curriculum, pedagogy or wellbeing, and cultivating distributed leadership with high expectations.

Leadership collaboration with the Principal and Executive Team will drive staff development, family engagement and a connected learning environment as we celebrate our 20th anniversary and plan

Qualifications

• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.
• Hold registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia
• Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start
• Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.

• Lead educational leadership across Tapping Primary School and its community.
• Embed and maintain a school culture built on positive relationships between students and staff.
• Engage parents, caregivers and the wider community in the educational work of the school.
• Build staff capacity and cultivate distributed leadership within a culture of high expectations.
