Job summary

Warnbro Community High School in Western Australia seeks an Associate Principal to lead the Student Services team and provide strategic leadership across wellbeing, engagement and support for students. The role focuses on effective case management, referral pathways, documentation and strong communication with staff and external agencies.

The successful candidate will implement evidence-based practices, lead multidisciplinary teams, monitor attendance and behaviour, and drive a positive school

Qualifications

• Must be Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have valid visa with work rights for term of appointment.
• Hold registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia
• Obtain a Working With Children Check and National Criminal History Check before start.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Student Services team and strategic student support in line with the Business Plan.
• Provide operational leadership for wellbeing, engagement and attendance across the school.
• Ensure compliant and defensible Student Services practices with clear documentation and referral pathways.
• Collaborate with staff, families and external agencies to coordinate student support.
• Use student data trends to inform resource allocation and school-wide approaches.
• Contribute to building a positive school culture as part of the Executive Team.
