Job summary

Catholic Archdiocese education opportunity in NSW seeks an Assistant Principal to support the Principal in strategic and operational directions. You will lead teaching and learning initiatives, build staff capability, and promote student wellbeing while strengthening Catholic identity across the school.

Collaborating with families and community, you will help create an inclusive, high-performing environment where students flourish and staff grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Teaching/Education or Master of Teaching.
• NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) required.
• NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation.
• Postgraduate qualification in Religious Education or Theological Studies.
• Additional Master’s Degree or five-year equivalent beyond Initial Teacher Education.
• Practicing Catholic connected to a parish or other worshipping community.
• Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives that strengthen teaching and learning and develop staff capability.
• Promote student wellbeing and foster Catholic identity and mission.
• Collaborate with staff, students, families and the wider community to create an inclusive, high-performing environment.
