Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Associate Director (Mechanical) to lead the Building Services team in Adelaide. You will oversee multi-discipline design, drive technical quality and manage complex projects across ANZ, while mentoring engineers and growing the local team.

Australian Citizenship with defence clearance is preferred, and you will work in a hybrid model with flexible arrangements and opportunities across a global engineering network.

Qualifications

• 15+ years experience in building services consultancy or contracting design.
• Chartered status (CPEng) essential; other registrations valued.
• Strong leadership and multi-disciplinary project delivery experience.
• Deep knowledge of building services systems and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and multi-discipline building services design and delivery.
• Oversee technical quality, coordination and design management across disciplines.
• Build and maintain client relationships to secure future work.
• Mentor junior engineers and support technical development.
• Grow Adelaide team as part of national Building Engineering group.
