University of Canberra invites applications for Associate Dean Indigenous in the Faculty of Design, Technology & Society. The role leads Indigenous excellence, shapes research, and drives advocacy and community engagement across the faculty.

The appointee will report to the Executive Dean and work with senior leaders to implement Indigenous priorities, supervise HDR candidates, and foster industry partnerships while maintaining an active research profile.

Formación

• PhD in a relevant discipline with a strong research track record.
• Demonstrated success in HDR supervision and mentoring.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Indigenous research strategy and capability development across the Faculty.
• Maintain a strong and active academic research profile.
• Supervise HDR candidates with a focus on Indigenous research students.
• Foster interdisciplinary and community-led research partnerships with meaningful outcomes.
• Develop and strengthen research collaborations across academia, industry, government and community sectors.
• Support growth of competitive research funding opportunities and initiatives.
