Job summary

The Sporting Globe in Geelong is hiring an Assistant Venue Manager to help keep the venue buzzing on game days. You’ll support shift operations, lead a small team, manage stock and compliance, and step in when the captain is away to keep standards high and service flawless.

We’re looking for 2 years of hospitality experience and RSA, RSG, and TAB basics, with a passion for epic guest experiences and a thriving, high-energy venue culture.

Qualifications

• 2 years hospitality experience (bonus if in pubs, bars, or busy restaurants).
• RSA, RSG, and TAB basics are preferred.
• A passion for creating epic guest experiences and buzzing venues.

Responsibilities

• Support the shift by ensuring every area runs smoothly.
• Motivate the team and build a winning venue culture.
• Assist with stock, reporting, compliance, and operational tasks to keep the venue in top shape.
• Be the go-to when the captain is away, keeping playbook and standards on track.
