The Sporting Globe Geelong is seeking a dynamic General Manager / Venue Manager to lead front-of-house operations in our Geelong venue. You will manage staff, training, rostering, and day-to-day FOH activities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while meeting OH&S and hygiene standards.

The role emphasizes strategic revenue growth, team development, and strong financial stewardship, with a competitive salary and incentive opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ years hospitality management experience.
• Exposure to both bar and restaurant environments.
• Experience in controlling financial aspects of a business.
• Ability to lead, train and develop a team.
• RSA, RSG, TAB Basics & Advanced essential.
• First aid certificate preferred.
• Approved Managers Certificate preferred.

Aufgaben

• Manage staff including training, rostering and on-shift management.
• Oversee operations across the venue (restaurant, bar and functions).
• Manage FOH operational facets and service standards.
• Audit OH&S and Food Hygiene procedures.
• Identify opportunities to grow sales while controlling costs.
