Job summary

The Boathouse Group is hiring an Assistant Venue Manager for The Mona Social in Mona Vale. You will work with the Venue Manager to lead the Front of House team and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Key duties include recruitment, onboarding and training, upholding food and beverage standards, and ensuring a warm, personalised service while maintaining a pristine venue environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar hospitality role.
• Organised with strong time management and prioritisation.
• Lead by example and stay calm during busy nights.
• RSA and First Aid certified, or keen to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, training and development for the Front of House team.
• Champion food and beverage standards and the overall guest experience.
• Run the floor by allocating roles and responsibilities for each service.
• Ensure every guest receives the warm, exceptional service The Boathouse Group is known for.

About the Role

We’re looking for a full-time Assistant Venue Manager to join the team at The Mona Social in Mona Vale.

You’ll work alongside the Venue Manager to lead the team, deliver amazing guest experiences and keep the team culture strong. In this role you’ll:

Lead recruitment, onboarding, training and development for the Front of House team

Champion food and beverage standards and the overall guest experience

Run the floor by allocating roles and responsibilities to suit each service

Make sure every guest receives the warm, exceptional service The Boathouse Group is known for

Keep the venue and event spaces clean, well maintained and looking their best

About You

You’ve worked in a similar role in hospitality and you’re ready to take the next step. You’re organised, you manage your time well and you lead by example. You’ll also be:

Building your people-management skills and keen to keep growing as a leader

Confident, calm and approachable, even on the busiest nights

Excited to develop your career with a business that backs its people

Available to work nights and weekends
