Job summary

Yo-Chi Highpoint is hiring a Full Time Assistant Venue Leader to be at the heart of the action. You will support the Venue General Manager, lead shifts for guests and your team, and ensure top service and standards across food safety and operations.

You’ll coach and develop staff, drive sales and efficiency, and help build a positive, high-energy culture with accountability and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in hospitality or retail.
• Experience working towards operational KPIs.
• Natural people person who enjoys building strong teams.
• Lead with positivity, accountability and a hands-on approach.
• Remain calm under pressure and keep a team motivated during busy services.

Responsibilities

• Support the Venue General Manager in day-to-day running.
• Drive sales, labour and COGS through efficient operations.
• Lead each shift with energy and deliver exceptional guest and team experiences.
• Coach, train and develop team members for future leaders.
• Ensure product, service and cleanliness standards are met.
• Oversee stock management, ordering, cash handling, rostering and admin duties.
• Maintain food safety, WHS and compliance standards.
• Keep venue running smoothly during busy services.
• Foster a positive, high-performing culture with accountability and energy.

We’re hiring a Full Time Assistant Venue Leader to be at the heart of the action leading the team at Yo-Chi Highpoint. Impress with our renowned guest experience and share the CHI with heart in what we do.

What you’ll be doing:

• Support the Venue General Manager in the day to day running of Yo-Chi Highpoint.
• Help drive sales, labour and COGS performance through efficient venue operations.
• Lead every shift with energy, creating an exceptional experience for both guests and your team.
• Coach, train and develop team members to build confidence, capability and future leaders.
• Ensure Yo-Chi’s product, service and cleanliness standards are consistently delivered.
• Oversee key operational tasks including stock management, ordering, cash handling, rostering and administrative duties.
• Maintain the highest food safety, workplace health and safety and compliance standards.
• Keep the venue running smoothly during busy services, solving problems and leading from the front.
• Foster a positive, high performing culture where accountability, teamwork and great energy thrive.

About you:

• You have 2+ years of leadership experience in hospitality or retail.
• Experience working towards operational KPI's
• You’re a natural people person who enjoys building strong teams.
• You lead with positivity, accountability and a hands on approach.
• You stay calm under pressure and know how to keep a team motivated during busy services.
• You’re available to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
