Job summary

Yo-Chi Greenhills is seeking a Full Time Assistant Venue Leader to drive team performance and guest experience. You will support the Venue General Manager and lead shifts, ensuring smooth operations and high standards across service periods.

The role offers a clear career pathway within Yo-Chi, with opportunities to progress to Venue Leader or Venue General Manager, and access to wellbeing and learning resources.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in hospitality or retail.
• Experience working towards operational KPIs.
• Natural people person who enjoys building strong teams.
• Lead with positivity, accountability and a hands-on approach.
• Stay calm under pressure and motivate teams during busy services.
• Available to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the Venue General Manager in day-to-day running of the venue.
• Drive sales, labour and COGS through efficient operations.
• Lead every shift with energy and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Coach, train and develop team members to build capability.
• Ensure product, service and cleanliness standards are met.
• Oversee stock management, ordering, cash handling, rostering and admin duties.
• Maintain food safety and OH&S compliance.
• Keep venue running smoothly during busy periods, solve problems, lead from the front.
• Foster a positive, high-performing culture with accountability and energy.

• You’re available to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
