Job summary

Bailey Nelson is opening a brand-new Mornington store and seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead the team with energy and a customer‑first mindset. You’ll partner with the Store Manager and Optometrist to guide customers from eye tests to frame selection and dispensing, ensuring a smooth journey and exceptional service.

You will own store operations two days per week, mentor staff, manage the appointment book, and drive performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or optics at a supervisor or management level.
• Availability to work full time on a Sunday to Thursday roster.
• Passionate about delivering great customer experiences.

What you’ll be doing

As an ASM, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day success of the store:

• Support the Store Manager and Optometrist to deliver a seamless customer journey from eye test to frame selection and dispense
• Take ownership of the store 2 days a week, leading the team and driving performance
• Keep the appointment book running smoothly and ensure every customer interaction feels easy and enjoyable
• Coach and support your team to deliver great service, every time
