Job summary

Bailey Nelson in Paddington is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, coach a team, and ensure outstanding customer experiences from eye tests to frame selections. You’ll act as a key driver of sales, with two days a week dedicated to owning the store and guiding staff to deliver top service.

You’ll receive hands-on training in optical dispensing and leadership, ongoing coaching, and strong internal promotion opportunities as the brand expands across ANZ.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or optics at supervisor or management level.
• Confident leader who enjoys developing others.
• Available to work full-time Sunday to Thursday rostering.

What you’ll be doing

As an ASM, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day success of the store:

• Support the Store Manager and Optometrist to deliver a seamless customer journey from eye test to frame selection and dispense
• Take ownership of the store 2 days a week, leading the team and driving performance
• Keep the appointment book running smoothly and ensure every customer interaction feels easy and enjoyable
• Coach and support your team to deliver great service, every time
