Job summary

Bailey Nelson in Mornington is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead our brand-new store opening in early October 2026. You will partner with the Store Manager and Optometrist to guide customers from eye test to frame selection and dispense, ensuring a seamless journey and a premium experience.

This role offers strong earning potential with OTE up to $85,000, quarterly glasses allowance, and ongoing training.

• Experience in retail or optics at a supervisor or management level.
• Confident leader skilled at developing others.
• Passionate about creating great customer experiences.
• Available to work full time on a Sunday to Thursday roster.

What you’ll be doing

As an ASM, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day success of the store:

• Support the Store Manager and Optometrist to deliver a seamless customer journey from eye test to frame selection and dispense
• Take ownership of the store 2 days a week, leading the team and driving performance
• Keep the appointment book running smoothly and ensure every customer interaction feels easy and enjoyable
• Coach and support your team to deliver great service, every time
