Job summary

Aesop Brisbane CBD, part of the L’Oréal Luxe division, seeks an Assistant Store Manager to drive store success through operations and stakeholder relationships alongside the Store Manager. You’ll manage a Sunday–Thursday, on-site roster, leading a team of Retail Consultants to deliver sales and optimize opportunities for the space.

The role requires proven retail management, strong selling skills, and a commitment to creating an inclusive, high-performing workplace.

Qualifications

Management experience in customer, retail or hospitality service environments.
Proven selling skills and ability to drive commercial outcomes in retail/hospitality.
History of leading and coaching a team with inclusive, psychologically safe environment.
Empathy to manage interpersonal relationships.
Open mindset and curiosity to understand others and diverse perspectives.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and merchandising skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily store operations and drive sales in partnership with the Store Manager.
Lead and coach a team of Retail Consultants, ensuring an inclusive and high-performance environment.
Develop opportunities to improve space performance and customer experience.
