Job summary

Starbucks Australia is seeking a hands‑on Assistant Store Manager in Bathurst to lead store operations in collaboration with the Store Manager. You will coach a high‑performing team, drive customer experience, and support financial performance while ensuring a welcoming Third Place for customers and communities.

You will grow your business acumen and leadership capabilities with ongoing training and clear progression toward a Store Manager role, including coaching on rostering and P&L awareness.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years’ progressively responsible experience, including at least one year in a customer-facing role.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in store leadership roles, ideally within the hospitality or quick service restaurant sector.
• Experience supporting store operations and contributing to financial performance.
• Exposure to rostering, budgets, and profit & loss (P&L) reports.
• A proven ability to develop teams and foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment.
