Job summary

Starbucks Australia is hiring a Cafe Manager/Assistant Store Manager in Double Bay, NSW. You’ll share leadership with the Store Manager to run store operations, develop a high-performing team, and deliver the Starbucks Experience. This role includes mentorship, coaching, and ongoing training to progress toward Store Manager.

Expect a permanent full-time role (38 hours/week) with benefits, a strong focus on guest experience, teamwork, and community engagement in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ progressively responsible experience, including at least one year in a customer-facing role.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in store leadership within hospitality or quick service restaurant sectors.
• Experience supporting store operations and contributing to financial performance; rostering, budgets and P&L exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Develop a high-performing team and create a welcoming third place for customers.
• Provide hands-on leadership, coaching and operational expertise.
