Job summary

Bunnings is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to drive daily store operations, sales and stock management with a 180+ team. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will lead multiple departments, coach managers and collaborate with regional teams to deliver the best customer experience.

You will oversee safety, rosters, and performance metrics, ensuring strong stock control and high engagement. A DIY/building passion and proven leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of 50+ personnel in a large retail operation.
• Strong focus on safety, wellbeing and compliance across the warehouse/store.
• Proven ability to drive sales, margin and cost targets in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 50+ direct reports, including opening/closing duties and safety oversight.
• Conduct safety walks and coaching to promote safe behaviours.
• Monitor sales performance against targets and implement improvement plans.
• Coach Department Managers to raise capability and drive results.
• Oversee stocktake, stock integrity and stock adjustments.
