Job summary

Omni Recruit is partnering with a wing restaurant on King Street, Newtown, Sydney, to recruit an Assistant Restaurant Manager who can lead shifts and drive guest experiences.

You will mentor a team, manage stock and events, uphold food safety and compliance, and help develop a clear pathway to Restaurant Manager through training and ongoing coaching.

Qualifications

• Supervisor or assistant manager experience in a busy venue.
• People-first leader who stays calm when the venue is busy.
• Confident with POS, ordering platforms, email and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Running shifts as the Restaurant Manager's right hand, and leading when they're off.
• Creating a team culture people want to stay for: rostering, training and coaching.
• Managing stock, ordering, wastage and cash handling.
• Turning guest feedback, in venue and online, into better service.
• Running bookings, birthdays, big groups and events.
• Keeping food safety, WHS and compliance on point.
• Bringing fresh ideas to drive sales and lift the vibe.
