Job summary

Hastings People in Melbourne is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager for a growing international QSR brand in Melbourne CBD. You will lead shifts, deliver outstanding service, and support recruitment and training while upholding brand standards.

This role develops leadership skills within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You’ll work closely with the Restaurant General Manager, manage rostering, inventory and reporting, and help drive KPIs across stores.

Qualifications

• Experience in quick-service or high-volume hospitality environments
• Previous supervisory or Assistant Manager experience preferred
• Strong leadership and people management capability

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and manage daily restaurant operations including opening and closing procedures
• Deliver exceptional customer service and help build brand presence within the local community
• Support recruitment, training and development of crew members
• Maintain operational standards, compliance and food safety procedures
• Assist with rostering, inventory control and operational reporting
• Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving performance targets and operational KPIs
