Job summary

Donovans Melbourne is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead front-of-house operations at our iconic beachside venue. You will ensure service excellence, train and motivate the team, and drive guest satisfaction across a renowned 600+ wine list in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years management experience in a similar environment with strong attention to detail.
• Experience delivering exceptional guest service and sales.
• Knowledge of wine service and handling a la carte dining environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead FOH during service to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain dining room standards at all times and exceed guest expectations.
• Assist Owners with daily and weekly restaurant operations.
• Capably lead FOH staff during service and manage closing procedures.

• An individual with a strong focus on service and knowledge in both food and beverage.
• Minimum 2 years Management experience in a similar environment with an strong attention to detail.

THE ROLE: Manager

• Responsible for service and sales.
• Delivering exceptional customer service when acting in the role of the Assistant Restaurant Manager.
• Maintaining the dining room to be an acceptable level at all times.
• Maintaining and exceeding guest expectations.
• Assisting the Owners with daily and weekly restaurant operations.
• To capably lead FOH staff members during service.
