Job summary

KFC Adco Limited is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager in Berwick North to be the right-hand to the Restaurant General Manager. You’ll lead shifts, drive KPI performance, and nurture a high-performing team while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

In this hands-on role you’ll recruit and develop staff, manage budgets and inventory, and implement marketing initiatives to grow the business. A proactive leader with strong communication skills will thrive.

Qualifications

• Proven experience and performance in a supervisory position.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on Team Member and Customer Experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Passion for delivering exceptional experiences and driving business success.
• Ability to train and develop a dynamic team.
• Strong problem-solving skills to think on your feet and resolve issues quickly.
• Confidence in decision-making to take charge during shifts and optimise performance.
• A sound understanding of budgets, inventory, and labour costs to drive efficiency and profitability, with a willingness to learn the detail of KFC Operations.
• Commitment to workplace safety by ensuring Workplace Health and Safety standards are always upheld.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts, taking charge during busy periods with a hands-on approach.
• Manage a dynamic team to ensure the Restaurant operates safely and efficiently.
• Train and develop Team Members to build capability and confidence.
• Recruit the right people, assign responsibilities, and maintain high performance standards.
• Provide coaching and support to help the team improve when expectations aren’t met.
• Achieve KPIs related to Sales, Profitability, Team Member Experience and Customer Satisfaction.
• Manage budgets, inventory and labour costs to optimise efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and address customer feedback.
• Support Marketing Initiatives to drive business success and growth.
