Job summary

CGC Recruitment is assisting a WA commercial builder to recruit an ambitious Assistant Project Manager / Contract Administrator. You will work directly with the Director as their second-in-command across diverse projects, from warehouses to retail and education facilities.

This hands-on role offers progression from contract administration to project management, with opportunities to influence budgeting, procurement and stakeholder decisions in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Contract Administrator or Assistant Project Manager.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Director on multiple projects.
• Assist with project management from procurement to completion.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiations and contracts.
• Oversee budgets, variations, progress claims and cost reporting.
• Coordinate programming, consultants, subcontractors and site teams.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders throughout delivery.
• Support commercial forecasting and project planning.
• Assist Director with day-to-day project management.
