Job summary

Discovery Parks Katherine in the Northern Territory is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to lead daily park operations and guest experiences, working closely with the Park Manager and supporting upgrades and future development.

This hands-on leadership role requires a passion for people, strong organisational skills, and willingness to live on-site to ensure exceptional service and park standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, accommodation, tourism or holiday parks.
• Leadership and team development experience.
• Budget and revenue experience.
• RMS or similar reservations system experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and after-hours.
• A current driver's licence.
• Willingness to live on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily park operations and respond to after-hours callouts.
• Support guest check-ins, reservations and reception operations.
• Assist with budgets, revenue and cost control.
• Lead, coach and support the team.
• Step up and manage the park in the Manager’s absence.
• Deliver an outstanding guest experience.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, safety and compliance.
• Support marketing, guest engagement and local partnerships.
• Contribute to park upgrades and future development.
• Work collaboratively with the wider G’day Group network.
