Job summary

Saltwater Creek Hotel on the Gold Coast is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a hands-on team across bar, bistro and gaming. You'll work alongside an experienced crew, take the lead on shift and help keep the venue running smoothly.

This role is based in Helensvale and includes structured onboarding, opportunities to grow within Redcape Hospitality, and a focus on guest experiences and service excellence.

Qualifications

• A supervisor ready to step up or an experienced manager ready for their next move
• A hospitality professional driven to learn, grow and advance your career
• A passion for great service and bringing out the best in your team
• Strong food, beverage and gaming knowledge, with a hands-on approach
• Availability across opens, mids, closes, weekends and public holidays
• Current RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager licence preferred- or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Lead your team to create extraordinary guest experiences, from warm welcomes to the little extras
• Take pride in your venue, maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Coach and encourage your team so people feel valued, build confidence and thrive
• Complete cash handling, reconciliation and daily reporting accurately
• Take responsibility as Manager on Duty, including opening, closing and shift decisions
• Uphold responsible service, gaming and workplace safety standards
