Palm Beach Hotel in a high-volume coastal setting is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a fast-paced floor team. You’ll run shifts, support the Publican, and embody gold-class hospitality for locals and visitors alike.

You should have hands-on leadership experience in hospitality, be comfortable with physical duties, and hold RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers licences as per state requirements. Join ALH Hotels and Endeavour Group for career growth and strong team energy.

Are you a hospitality professional ready to run the floor at one of the most vibrant and high-volume coastal venues on the southern Gold Coast? The Palm Beach Hotel is looking for a driven, floor-focused Assistant Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to keep a large crew moving in sync.

"The Palmy" is a high-performing coastal flagship. Whether it's a packed weekend crowd enjoying live sports, a bustling family dinner rush in the bistro, or managing our premium gaming and retail operations, this venue requires a leader who loves being right at the center of a high-energy trade. We need someone with sharp operational instincts who can maintain elite standards and ensure our sun-seeking locals and regulars receive gold-class hospitality on every shift.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence as per state requirements
