Queens Tavern is seeking an Assistant Manager to help keep the venue buzzing and loved by locals. You’ll support the Publican, lead a team of hospitality stars, and learn the ropes of running a pub while ensuring safety and a vibrant atmosphere.

With RSA and Approved Manager checks, you’ll build strong connections with locals and guests. This hands-on role involves lifting and stock deliveries, and offers growth within the Endeavour Group network.

Formación

• Experience supervising in bar/pub or bistro environments.
• Current RSA and Approved Managers Card as per state requirements.
• Strong people skills and confident to lead front-of-house teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support the pub team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain safety, customer service, and a lively, welcoming atmosphere.
• Respond quickly to issues and keep the venue running efficiently.

We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Queens Tavernbuzzing and loved by the locals.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Inherent requirements:

This is a hands‑on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been around the bar and bistro room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA and Approved Managers Cardas per state requirements
