Job summary

StorHub Australia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Sydney to help drive sales and deliver industry-leading service. You will work alongside the Store Manager to achieve occupancy and revenue targets while maintaining a safe, well-presented facility.

You should bring experience in retail or customer service, with leadership capabilities and a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. This is a part-time leadership role with a Tuesday to Saturday roster and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or similar environment.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred but not essential.
• Confident in achieving sales targets and identifying opportunities.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

Working alongside the Store Manager, you'll play an important role in driving sales, maintaining operational excellence and ensuring our customers receive industry-leading service.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering exceptional customer service and creating outstanding customer experiences.
• Helping customers find the right storage solution for their needs.
• Converting enquiries into rentals while promoting StoreProtect and other value-added products.
• Supporting the Store Manager to achieve sales, occupancy and revenue targets.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and secure facility that customers can be proud to use.
• Completing daily administration, cash handling and operational tasks.
• Coaching and supporting Store Sales Assistants to deliver outstanding results.
• Taking ownership of the centre in the Store Manager's absence.
• Building strong relationships with customers and resolving enquiries professionally.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a customer-focused environment and takes pride in delivering great results.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or a similar environment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience (preferred but not essential).
