Job summary

StorHub Australia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team and deliver an exceptional customer experience at our self-storage facility in Sydney. You will work alongside the Store Manager to drive sales, ensure operational excellence and deliver high service standards.

This part-time leadership role focuses on coaching staff, achieving occupancy and revenue targets, and maintaining a safe, clean facility for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or a similar environment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience (preferred but not essential).
• Confidence in achieving sales targets and identifying opportunities.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Delivering exceptional customer service and creating outstanding customer experiences.
• Helping customers find the right storage solution for their needs.
• Converting enquiries into rentals while promoting StoreProtect and other value-added products.
• Supporting the Store Manager to achieve sales, occupancy and revenue targets.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and secure facility that customers can be proud to use.
• Completing daily administration, cash handling and operational tasks.
• Coaching and supporting Store Sales Assistants to deliver outstanding results.
• Taking ownership of the centre in the Store Manager's absence.
• Building strong relationships with customers and resolving enquiries professionally.
