Job summary

Discovery Park Biloela, part of G’day Group, invites an experienced hospitality professional to join as Assistant Manager. You’ll lead day-to-day park operations, support the team, and build strong guest relationships in a vibrant regional setting.

You’ll drive service excellence, manage check-ins and budgets, and step up to lead in the Manager’s absence while contributing to a welcoming community across Australia’s largest park network.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hospitality, accommodation, tourism or caravan park operations.
• Strong people leadership skills and ability to train/coach teams.
• Experience with long-stay, corporate, contractor or workstay guests is valued.
• Sound financial understanding with budgeting and revenue/cost control.
• Tech savvy with reservations systems like RMS or Newbook.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily park operations and handle after-hours callouts.
• Oversee guest check-ins, reservations and reception tasks.
• Build relationships with guests and create a welcoming park community.
• Assist with budgeting, revenue management and cost control.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and manage reviews and inquiries.
• Coach and motivate the team; lead park operations in the Manager’s absence.
• Support marketing initiatives to attract guests and workstay opportunities.
