Job summary

Park Hyatt Sydney is seeking an Assistant Manager - Communications to lead the PABX team in the Front Office. Based in Sydney, this full-time, local role offers the chance to work with an exclusive luxury hotel and a driven, guest-focused team.

Responsibilities include facilitating efficient communications for guests and employees, ensuring smooth operation of the Communications team, handling external communications, and maintaining telecommunication devices.

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role in a hotel environment.
• Strong communication, telephone, and customer relations skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Opera PMS, email, and PABX systems.
• Excellent trainer, able to facilitate at all levels.
• Essential knowledge of travel and hotel industry.
• Diploma/degree in Hospitality or Tourism Management desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of Communications team.
• Provide quality service to guests, staff, and callers with hotel information.

We are looking for professional Assistant Manager - Communications in our team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for facilitating efficient communications for both guests and employees within the hotel and for external communications.
• Ensures the smooth and efficient operation of Communications team.
• Provides quality service to guests, staff, and incoming calls and a wide range of information pertaining to the hotel and activities in and around the city.
• Assist with the maintenance of the telecommunication devices and systems within the hotel.
• Identifies, plans and conducts training programs for employees.

Qualifications

• Sufficient experience in a leadership or supervisory role in a similar environment
• Well developed Communication, Telephone and Customer Relations Skills.
• Well developed Computer Skills particularly in the use of MS Office, email, Opera and PABX Systems.
• Good trainer, able to facilitate at all levels.
• Essential knowledge of Travel and Hotel industry
• Diploma/degree in Hospitality or Tourism Management desirable.
